Success Story

“I am so thankful for everything you did for me.”

Linda Hartman admitted to our facility at the end of January after a fall resulting in a fractured ankle. While at the hospital, she had surgery and was unable to return to her home at the time due to needing extensive assistance with care and she was unable to stand or walk. She admitted to Devlin Manor for rehabilitation in order to get stronger and get back to her home. Linda was unable to bear any weight on her ankle for eight long weeks, making it difficult for her to stand and complete basic tasks. During her stay, she advanced to using a walking boot and worked hard every day to get back to walking.

After weeks of therapy, she met her goals and was able to complete her daily tasks and walk with a walker. She was anxious to return home and to her community in which she was an active member of. Linda returned home on May 9th to her family and community. The residents and staff will miss her, as she always had a positive attitude and brightened our days. We wish you the best, Linda!
